New Partnership for Enniskillen YouthBank

Enniskillen YouthBank returns with a new partnership between Fermanagh Trust and Youth Action Northern Ireland. 

The combination of expertise and experience in interpersonal relationships, communication, fund raising and facilitating open and progressive opportunities for young people provides a great opportunity to do something very positive in Fermanagh. Barry McGinley and Nuala Ormsby (pictured above) will act as mentors and coaches to a new team of 16 – 25 year olds to stimulate youth-led civic action projects. Currently a recruitment drive is taking place to select a representative team with the spirit and positive attitude of 'can do'. The selected team members will be on the look out for brilliant ideas that can address the theme of improving young people's mental health as well as being busy undertaking their own local research to agree other themes to capture young people's enthusiasm and interests. What's good about YouthBank in Fermanagh is that young people will be encouraged to get together with their friends to work out their own ideas to meet the funding theme and to come up with activities that really make a difference and make their project come to life.
